A close source to Samsung has confirmed to AndroidBasha.com that Samsung will be launching two new wearable devices at the upcoming MWC alongside the Galaxy S5 on Monday. The source didn't unveil much but It's been rumored for quite a while that Samsung has been working on a fitness-oriented wearable gadget and recently it got the name "Galaxy Gear Fit", the name nor the specs of this device has been officially confirmed yet.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the possibility of a Samsung-made wearable fitness device. Back in December a report from the Korean Herald claimed that Samsung would unveil such a device at MWC, under the name Galaxy Gear Band.
In short, the Gear Fit is designed to one-up existing health and fitness tracking devices like the Fuel Band and FitBit, as well as compete with upcoming products from LG and Sony. While the report doesn't specify, it is fairly likely that the Galaxy Fit will at least have some of the functionality found in the standard Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
In addition to the Galaxy Gear Fit, the next generation Galaxy Gear is also rumored to be unveiled at the upcoming MWC and also no specs has been leaked, but it's possible that it would coming with a bendable display and with a completely renovated design, we're only two days away from Samsung's Unpacked event so we're going to have to wait and see what the Korean giant has been working on for the past couple of months, Are you planning to get the next generation of Galaxy Gear?
