Android users aren’t only waiting for Samsung to roll out its Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S2 smartphones but they’re also looking forward to see CyanogenMod 10 released for those devices.

A few days ago I told you that Jelly Bean has been ported to the Galaxy S2 international version, but also that a preview CM10 version for the Galaxy S3 was available. Now, I'm about to tell you that international Galaxy S2 owners can enjoy a preview of CM10 based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean on their Samusng GT-I9100 Galaxy S2 device.

Like always, I'm going to remind you that I'm not encouraging you to install any custom ROMs on your Android handset, and that it’s up to you to proceed with such endeavors. However, once you choose this path, make sure you follow all the available instructions – in this case by following the “official” xda-developers Forum thread – when installing the CM10 preview on the handset.

And do remember that this is a preview build, which means that not everything may work according to expectations, although we’re sure things are going to be improved soon.

Have you installed CM 10 on your international Galaxy S2 version?

    2. Installed on my AT&T I777 S2 and working very well other than high battery usage. Everything works (rotation, camera, phone, mms, gps, usb, wifi and wired tethering)

      1. The development for this ROM is a little far from a stable version so naturally it well have a lot of bugs but it should give you a taste of what's coming.
