The OS for BlackBerry has always been quite limiting for developers, but now RIM are looking to change that as they bring out their next operating system. The OS in the video (below) shows a much more sleek phone, with simple slides to answer calls and a pretty neat texting tool which lets you swipe up for words (of course, Android will probably get a app out of that).
The phone shown will also house one of the BlackBerry users’ favourite feature; the notification light.
Conclusion? RIM may have finally created a product that can compete. We’ll have to wait and see though, as the phone and OS is only currently available to BB Devs.
