#1 : Samsung Galaxy S4

The Samsung Galaxy S3 was arguably the biggest Android phone release to date, so it's hardly surprising that the inevitable S4 is leading the pack as one of the most anticipated phones of 2013. While details on the device remain strictly in rumor mill territory, the best guesses include a 5-inch 1080p HD display, a 13-megapixel camera, and integrated support for Visa wireless payments. But one thing we know for sure: we'll be getting all of the relevant details on March 14 at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall.

#2 : The next iPhone

It's a long way off being announced, but given Apple's track record (and the rumors already circulating) it's likely we'll see the next Apple iPhone in the summer or fall of 2013 -- but whether it'll be called the 5S or the 6 or something else is anyone's guess. Likely improvements will include a faster processor and increased storage. Some rumors even point to a 5S and a 6 (with a larger screen) - Which I highly doubt happening - being released at the same time or a cheaper so-called iPhone Mini for developing markets -Also highly doubt happening-.

#3 : Sony PlayStation 4

The PS4 is now official. Sony formally announced its next-gen gaming console on February 20 at an event in New York -- but by the time the event ended, we had at least as many questions as answers. We do know that it's going to have PC-centric hardware (anchored by an AMD processor), an upgraded DualShock controller, and a "holiday 2013" release window. Expect to get another big data dump -- including, we hope, a look at what the PS4 actually looks like -- at the E3 gaming show in June.

Expected shipping date: Holiday 2013

#4 : The next Xbox

The Wii U has been on sale since November, and Sony offered a peek behind the PS4 curtain in February -- so what about the next Xbox? Nothing is official yet, and the big question is whether Microsoft will wait for an E3 coming-out party in June, or have a PS4-style event in April or May. Beyond that, expect the Xbox "720" (a nickname, since no one knows the real moniker) to incorporate the next generation of Kinect motion control, and -- of course -- a strong exclusive game library including Halo and Gears of War.

#5 : LG 55EM9700

Though it's easily going to be one of the most expensive TVs of the year, the LG EM9700 is a taste of the future. It boasts a new type of panel called OLED (organic light-emitting diode) and promises better blacks than the neighboring space-time wormhole.

Expected U.S. shipping date: March 2013

#6 : Razer Edge

The gaming highlight of CES 2013, the Razer Edge has been turning heads for the last 12 months. Here is a handheld console/tablet that uses a fully formed version of Windows and can play the latest games. The only downsides? Its weight and short battery life may limit portability.

Expected shipping date: March 2013

#7 : Ouya

Ouya began life as a Kickstarter project and is one of several Android-based gaming consoles expected to appear in 2013. What makes the Ouya different: its relatively cheap $99 asking price and its open Android architecture.

Expected shipping date: June 2013 (March 28 for original Kickstarter orders)

#8 : Nvidia Project Shield

It's a tablet! It's a gaming handheld! It's Android-powered! It can stream PC games! All of the above: Nvidia's Project Shield debuted strongly at CES, and we're looking forward to getting more details on this unique gaming product soon.

#9 : Apple iWatch

If the rumors are to be believed, Apple may have upward of 100 people working on just such a product. Whether it's more of an interface to an iPhone or a standalone gadget is anyone's guess -- as is when (or whether) this rumored product will see the light of day.

#10 : Google Glass

Google's wearable augmented reality headset first debuted in a dramatic skydiving demo at the company's 2012 Google I/O developers conference. But the company has recently confirmed that the product will ship to consumers before the end of 2013 at a cost of less than $1,500. Here comes the future, ready or not.
