Just days after the Samsung's UNPACKED event, Apple released a webpage explaining why its flagship smartphone is better than the competition and I must say, it gave me a pretty good laugh! I'll explain, Let's take this page a part!
First, Saying "Only iPhone has the Retina display" is like saying only Samsung has the Super HD AMOLED screen, only Chevrolet have the Corvette, only cars have 4 wheels!! it's a technology by Apple FOR APPLE!
Moving on, Could someone pleeeease tell Apple there are plenty of Android phones with screens just as good -If not even better- as the iPhone's? PPI, Colour Contrast and Resolution-wise! There are at least 15 Android phones on the market that can easily knock down the iPhone 5's display any time!
Humm, I guess the charger and the external battery every iPhone user has at all time are just for show! and btw, looks like they didn't get the news about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Droid Razr Maxx, and the LG Optimus Vu's batteries? Seriously? The iPhone 5's battery of 1,440 mAh doesn't stand a chance compared to the monstrous 3,100 mAh battery on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2!
Let me throw a few words at ya real quick; Exynos Cortex A9 Quad core? A15 Octa core? Snapdragon 600? 800? Looks like apple thinks it has won alphabetically not a matter of benchmarks!
Damn! someone hit me on the head with a hammer please! The STANDARD LTE in all late 2012 and 2013 smart phones is being presented as a unique feature? Just doesn't make any sense.
Not "Phone camera" they used just the word "Camera" no it's not the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 7D, EOS REBEL T2i, or the Nikon D7000, D90, D3100 nor it's a Panasonic or a Sony, it's the iPhone's ladies and gentlemen, and based on what? Flickr? A website with only 50 million (registered not active) users? I'll give you that point when you show me a study based on Facebook.
Huh. I guess they missed out that Google Play Store has caught up to the iTunes store in less than 3 years and it has about the same number of apps... Yes 0.001% of iTunes apps are iPhone exclusive for about 6 months, but I'd prefer to wait and get the app on a decent phone instead of downgrading just for an early trial.
I only have one question, ACCORDING TO WHO??? to Apple? now that's bullshit, in terms of popularity? Android dominates and everyone knows ( do a quick Google search if you've been away for the past year ), in terms of usability? that depends on the user, don't you think? I mean the Windows phone is made with a 4 year old user in mind and therefore it's extremely simple but it makes me feel stupid just by holding a phone operated by one! so I'm sorry Apple, you have to put on quite a show to sell this one!
It's the Retina display all over again! I won't talk about this as much, Google "Siri vs Google now" and see for yourself,
Google Drive, DropBox and SkyDrive are car models not Cloud services.
You don't say?! didn't know my Samsung comes with support from Aliens! Yeah I get the concept but this page is as cheesy as the Broadway-style event Samsung threw for the Galaxy S4,
