Yesterday Apple introduced the latest version of their operating system iOS 7 and for those of you who are running the latest version of Android, a lot of them will look very familiar because they were part of Android first.
Control Center
Yes it does sound like a fancy name and it appears from the bottom of the display rather than the top like in ever Android device, but iOS 7's new Control Center is exteremly semiler to Android's notification panel, It has a punch of shortcuts to control things like WiFi, Bluetooth and Airplane mode just like toggles in Android.
Lock Screen Design
The image above says it all.
Dynamic Wallpaper
It's not exactly Live wallpapers like what we have in Android, It’s only a small movement, It functions in a different way in Android; rather than moving as you scroll between home pages, the iOS 7 wallpaper moves as you tilt the screen.
Multitasking Previews
This is one of the features Android users has been enjoying for quite sometime now, The only difference on iOS is that apps scroll horizontally rather than vertically but it’s the same idea. It also uses the same mechinesum (swipe) to close apps.
Automatic App Updates
Another feature that’s very popular on Android. It means instead of having to update your apps manually one by one, it all happens in the background and you never have to deal with it yourself. And before you ask how you’ll know whether an app’s been updated, you will receive a notification to tell you... just like Android.
iCloud Keychain
iCloud Keychain lets you sync saved usernames and passwords with Safari on your Mac and Safari on your iOS devices, This is exactly the same feature Google Chrome provides to Android users since the dawn of Android 4.0.x.
Safari Tabs
Apple made lots of changes to Safari just like all its other built-in apps and one of those was giving it a brand new look, with a new tab layout. And you’ll notice that Safari’s tabs now look exactly like Chrome’s. Rather sitting beside either other, they sit in front of each other, like a deck of cards which is the same effect you get when you scroll between your tabs on Android and just like in Chrome, Safari lets you swipe away tabs that you no longer need.
